Since updating, AJ had her 4 wisdom teeth & a 5 tooth taken out at the same time. She missed 6 days of school. It was a rough recovery and took longer than expected. She was so swollen the doc made us come back for a 2nd re-check.

Just when she was getting back in the swing of school, state testing popped up. This was a funky week for everyone. Testing in the morning. Specials in the afternoon instead of the mornings. AJ doesn't go in the mornings so she was meeting teachers for the first time, like in gym and art.

Tomorrow is her IEP meeting. Next subject....

AJ's softball team is 7-0!!!!!!! Very exciting stuff. She has won games before but it has never been like this. Tonight, they just squeaked by 6-5, but a win is a win. Next game, Tuesday vs. Mullica.

I haven't updated because I didn't want to jinx it, but AJ is doing amazingly well. She is going to school 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Softball has started up again. She is horseback riding once a week. Her teacher still comes 5 hours a week. Add in playdates, bike riding and fighting with her sister --life is more normal that it has been in YEARS!!!!!!!!!

She did have her first asthma attack in 16 months this week and missed 4 days of school, along with horseback riding, but she seems to be improving finally.

Cousin Nathan stayed with us for parts of the last two weeks. AJ was such a great cousin and helper. We miss him!

Ya ready for this? You sitting down? I went to school two days this week!! An hour each day, but it is a start. My teacher still came over tonight, but she can come for less hours now.

On the 2nd, I went with my uncle to the AWA an animal shelter to walk the dogs and play with them. I am going again tomorrow. I really enjoyed doing that.

I have been back to riding horses. I am riding Huey these days. After I ride, I have been taking off the saddle and grooming him. I like that too. I wish I could volunteer there but you have to be 13.

JoJo and I went to the beach again this week, but it was much colder than expected. It was still warmer than it should be in February.

Let me know you stopped by.

My mom is a bum. She hasn't been updating my site. Well, a quick summary......

I am having trouble with dehydration so I got a port so I could get IV fluids. The port got infected and had to come out 19 days later. I got pneumonia from the infection. So now no port, antibiotics and I have to use my g-tube-which hurts and do breathing treatments.

My teacher is still coming to my house. I am not going to school yet. Tonight there is a school dance and I am going to that.

I saw Hannah Montana on January 4th. The Jonas Brothers too. That was great.

We had a nice beach day in January.
