Eagan, Minn. (Mar. 20, 2013) —
CaringBridge, the nonprofit caring social network that connects people during any type of health event, is a participating charity for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon.
Runners can dedicate their Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon to CaringBridge to raise funds for the nonprofit, helping it fulfill its mission to amplify the love, hope and compassion in the world, making each health journey easier.
“Dedicating a race to CaringBridge provides extra motivation for an individual and is a great way to give back to an organization that is important to you,” said Susan Umlor, CaringBridge development specialist.
Registration for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon is now open. The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, which will run from downtown Minneapolis to the State Capitol grounds in St. Paul on Sunday, October 6, is limited to 12,200 participants and typically fills by June each year. Its charity program raised $750,000 in 2012 and is aiming for $1 million in 2013.
