Minn.-Based Pear Tree Greetings and CaringBridge Launch Partnership

The greeting card company will donate $20 for every referral purchase to the nonprofit communications hub used for families in crisis

Eagan, Minn. (Nov. 13, 2012) —

Mankato-based Pear Tree Greetings, maker of personalized greeting cards, today announced a new partnership with CaringBridge, a leading national nonprofit that provides online tools for people experiencing a life-changing health event. The partnership features a referral program in which Pear Tree Greetings donates $20 to CaringBridge for every referral purchase.

Here's how Pear Tree Greetings' new "$20 – $20 ­– $20" referral program works:
•A Pear Tree Greetings customer refers a friend via email or social networks. The friend receives a message that a $20 credit is waiting for her/him at www.PearTreeGreetings.com.
•The friend creates an account and places an order of $40 or more. $20 is credited to her/his total purchase.
•At that time, a $20 credit also appears on the customer's account, and $20 is donated to CaringBridge.
