CaringBridge Hires Stephanie Malone as Development Officer

Eagan, Minn. (Oct. 29, 2009) —

CaringBridge, a Minnesota-based nonprofit web service, recently hired Stephanie Malone as development officer. Malone will ensure the strategic initiatives of CaringBridge are supported by the generosity of a wide philanthropic community.

Since 1997 Malone has worked in fund development for Minnesota nonprofits, including the American Cancer Society, Augsburg College, Concordia University-St. Paul and the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and also is a candidate for a master's degree in public health administration and policy from the University of Minnesota.

CaringBridge is a charitable nonprofit organization providing free, private websites that connect family and friends to share information, love and support during a serious health event, care and recovery. The personal websites save time and energy by centralizing communication and easing the burden of updating everyone during a health event.
