Alan Abramson joins CaringBridge Board of Directors

CaringBridge recently appointed Alan Abramson to its board of directors. CaringBridge is a Minnesota-based nonprofit Web service that provides free Web sites to those wishing to stay in touch with family and friends during a serious health event, treatment and recovery.

Abramson is the senior vice president of information services and chief information officer at HealthPartners, a family of nonprofit Minnesota healthcare organizations focused on improving the health of its members, its patients and the community. He is actively involved in numerous regional and national organizations for healthcare systems innovation and improvement, including the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest and the Minnesota e-Health Initiative Advisory Committee.
