Eagan, Minn. (Apr. 15, 2009) —
CaringBridge, a Minnesota-based nonprofit Web service, recently hired Mike Stadelman as marketing and communications director. Stadelman will lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing, communications and brand management programs that support the CaringBridge mission to bring together a global community of care.
Stadelman brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing technology and consumer products to CaringBridge. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota and several post-graduate certificates.
CaringBridge provides free Web sites to those wishing to stay in touch with family and friends during a serious medical condition, treatment and recovery. Through those sites, families can easily update those who care and still focus their energies on the person who requires healing. Supporters stay involved by reading journal entries, viewing photos, and leaving messages of love and support in the guestbook. At the same time, hospitals and treatment centers ensure patients receive the emotional support they need, especially when personal visits are not possible.
More than 30 million friends and families are connected each year through personal CaringBridge Web sites that have generated more than 880 million visits and 20 million messages of hope and encouragement. For more information visit www.caringbridge.org.
CaringBridge is a nonprofit offering many ways for people to care for each other during any type of health event. Its mission is to amplify the love, hope and compassion in the world, making each health journey easier. For more information, visit www.CaringBridge.org.
