Eagan, Minn. (Aug. 23, 2012) —
Amplify the love, hope and compassion in the world. That’s the CaringBridge mission. By striking a pose at the CaringBridge photo station, fairgoers can do just that.
CaringBridge, the social network that keeps families and loved ones connected during any type of health event, will host an “Amplify the Love” photo station at the Minnesota State Fair from August 23 to September 3, 2012.
Photos will be posted on the CaringBridge Facebook page for fairgoers to view and share. For each photo tagged on Facebook, Minnesota-based online stationery and greeting card company - Pear Tree Greetings - will donate $1 to CaringBridge – up to $2,000.
The photo station is located in the Health Fair 11 building on the corner of Dan Patch Avenue and Cooper Street. Visitors also can learn about opportunities to volunteer with the local nonprofit and become a CaringBridge Amplifier. CaringBridge touches more lives every day thanks to its enthusiastic, motivated community of volunteers and supporters.
More than 500,000 people connect through CaringBridge every day. Users have created more than 320,000 CaringBridge Sites and SupportPlanners since the service started in 1997.
CaringBridge is a nonprofit offering many ways for people to care for each other during any type of health event. Its mission is to amplify the love, hope and compassion in the world, making each health journey easier. For more information, visit www.CaringBridge.org.
