CaringBridge Offers Green Bay Packers Website Style

Eagan, Minn. (Jan. 13, 2012) —

CaringBridge, a nonprofit providing personal websites that connect family and friends during a health challenge, announced today that the Green Bay Packers, defending world champions, have allowed CaringBridge to add a Packers-themed website template to its robust style library.

“We are always looking for ways to make CaringBridge sites as personal and customizable as possible,” said Sona Mehring, founder and CEO of CaringBridge. “We asked our fans on Facebook which teams they’d like to see on a CaringBridge template and the Packers received an overwhelming response.”

“We are honored to offer CaringBridge users a Green Bay Packers style template. If our team and our brand can provide inspiration and optimism to anyone facing a health journey, then that’s all that matters,” said Michelle Palubicki, marketing manager for the Green Bay Packers. Cathy Dworak, the Packers manager of community outreach added, “Our community outreach department often adds comments to the CaringBridge sites, especially for Make-A-Wish children.”

Personal CaringBridge websites save time and emotional energy by centralizing communication during situations such as cancer, premature birth and serious injury. Authors add health updates and photos to share their story while visitors leave messages of love, hope and compassion in the guestbook.

Since CaringBridge was founded in 1997, more than 300,000 CaringBridge websites have been created. Each day over half-a-million people connect through CaringBridge to give their support to loved ones.
