CaringBridge Names Three New Board Members

Eagan, Minn. (Jan. 23, 2013) —

CaringBridge, the Minnesota-based nonprofit offering many ways for people to care for each other during any type of health event, recently appointed Bill McKinney, Katherine Tavitian and Jason Van de Loo to its board of directors. CaringBridge board members provide leadership, valued advice and governance of the caring social network.

 

Bill McKinney is Vice President of Talent and Strategic Development at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, a fraternal benefit society that offers a wide range of financial products and services to more than two million members throughout the United States. His experience includes mass market strategy, new business development, marketing research and analytics, business intelligence and talent and change management.

 

Katherine Tavitian is a Co-founder and Principal at Breakthrough Healthcare Solutions, a strategic business development consultancy that assists start-ups and early-stage companies with the commercialization of new healthcare technologies and products. She also is the Interim President and COO of the Consortium for Local Ownership and Use of Data (CLOUD), Inc., a nonprofit technology standard consortia dedicated to re-structuring the Internet by developing and promoting the adoption of the contextual markup language (CTML) to enhance privacy and security while facilitating connections between people and data.

 

Jason Van de Loo is Chief Marketing Officer at Everspring, a full-service provider of customized online education solutions to leading universities. He has more than ten years of experience driving innovation and building consumer brands online. His expertise includes market strategy, digital product and experience design, brand-driven marketing and talent management.
