It has been a long time since I have checked this site. It is so hard to read the journal and realize what Ryan went through. My heart aches that he is not here. We would have given anything for it to have been us instead. Every day as things change I just think how he would have loved to be here to enjoy the moments with us.
This summer we will be going to Florida. Dan and I will take a day to see where Ryan went to school and where he lived while he was there. I know it will be hard but everything without Ryan is hard.
We will be doing the cure search walk this year on June 14th. A cure must be found and Ryan would be proud to have us there. Please join us, we would love to see you there.
There was a message asking about Peter and Cannon. They are both doing well. Peter has recently lost his leg due to another unfair tumor. His mom is the strongest person I know. Peter is such an amazing young man.
Cannon is also doing well. I saw pictures recently of him playing baseball and enjoying life. Thank God!
We are blessed to have our girls, their husbands and their children to keep us going. Ryan is always remembered and brought up in conversation! The grandchildren are brutally honest sometimes and come up with some hard questions but God has a way of helping me give the right answers.
