Zane's Page

Welcome to Zane's Web Page. Zane was diagonsed with medulloblastoma a childhood brain tumor on Sept 6, 2002. Zane had surgery where 95% of the tumor was removed. Zane received 31 rounds of radiation to the brain and spine. He received chemo from January 2003 to November 22. Zane finished his last round of chemo on November, 22, 2003. Thank the Lord!! With God's help and your prayers Zane will recover.

Well we are home and had a great appointment.

All of Zane's scans come back unchanged. So we don't have to have scans for another 6 months. His cateract in his right eye has gotten worse, so we will have to have it removed. We have decided to wait until after school is out to have the surgury because Zane will have to stay around Rochester for 5 days after the surgury. The procedure is done almost just like for adults.

We did get to see Karen (Zane's tutor from Rochester and Tom is favorite nurse). They invited us to their house on Monday evening for supper. WE had a real nice visit. Tom and Karen have 4 boys 3 of them are a set of triplets.

We also got to meet Will's mom. Will is a little boy we met at cancer camp who had the same tpye of cancer that Zane had. We look forward to visiting with them when we go back for Zane's eye surgury.

I have a real urgent prayer request for a friend of ours who is battling this awful disease. Please pray for Cindi her son Eon and Zach play optimist basketball together. She along with her family could use all your prayers.

Thank You all for you support these past 4 1/2 years, it sure has been a long road.
