Thursday, July 31, 2008 10:38 PM CDT Hello everyone! This summer has flown by but it hasn't lacked any fun. I was a Counselor in Training at Camp C.A.R.E for the first time this year and I LOVED it. I had the 8-10 year old girls and they were great. I had so much fun and I cannot wait to go back next year.
I have been catching up on all doctor, dentist, eye doctor, haircut and any other appointments I can think of before I leave for college. I leave tomorrow morning for New York City with four friends. We are taking the train and will be there until Thursday August 7th. So far we've planned to visit all the major tourist spots and go to a Yankees game vs. the Angels. It should be a great time!
I move into my dorm at NC State on August 16th! I found out while I was at camp that I received a $22,000 scholarship so that made our lives a whole lot easier dealing with the college situation. I'm up to about $39,000 now and that almost covers 3 years. I was accepted into a scholars program and I'll be double majoring in Biological Sciences and Spanish. I can't wait to go, I'm so ready!
Thanks for checking in and please continue the prayers for all the ROH kids and their families!
