Hi All,

I am still on a high from the first Festival of HOPE that was this past Sunday at Beantown Tavern at Ardry Kell. What a wonderful time we had with friends and community to honor Hope on what would be her graduation week. Stuart and I have been dreading this time of the year for months now. It is so hard to remember back when Austin graduated and Hope's cancer journey started at the same time. It was supppose to be one of life's highlights for Austin and yet it was horrible at the same time. Holly's graduation was wonderful and she got the college she so hoped for. We have continued to make it through milestones in the last 5 years, celebrating bitter/sweet events, without Hope here on earth. We faced birthday's,13,16, and 18th. We made it through the times for driver's ed, license, proms, and senior activities, banquets and college acceptance.

God has helped us through everyone of these times and I know will continue to be by our side as we continue to take Hope's story out to all who will embrace it.

Stuart and I were so proud of all the volunteers at the Festival of Hope but especially the young ones, who aged from 5 -teenage, who gave their time all day to the festival of HOPE. What great role models they were for the kids who came to play. We raised alot of money and had the best time, and there will be another one next year!!!! Too much fun was had by all. I have to give a special thanks to the HOPE committee, Kevin Donnalley , Donnie and Beantown Tavern, Beth Diggs (who spearheaded it all)Jackie Corbett, Stuart,The Wax Gurus, Ferlondo,Branson,Pat, and all the others who gave of their time to make this a very successful event.

What was one of the coolest moments was at the closing of the day, after all was said and done, The Ennis family had brought a symbol of peace and hope, a white dove, and it was released into the sky to remember and honor our daughter Hope. Thanks for all who came out, helped out or just plain prayed for success and good weather. We love you from the bottom of our hearts as we will always continue to March Forth with HOPE.

Graduation services are Friday at 10. Stuart and I will be the speakers at Weddington High . Please be in prayer of what we say to inspire these young people who are about to leave home and go to college.

Love always,
Shelby
