Wednesday, May 30, 2007 10:23 AM CDT Hey guys, It has been over a year since We've updated this page, but we'll try and make it short! As of last visit I only need to see Dr. McMahon every three months. Three years have past since my last treatment and I am a normal and healthy teenager! My seventh grade year has been amazing! I am an "A" student, science scholar, and involved in the Duke TIP program for gifted seventh graders. As a result of my recent SAT scores( 580 in English, 8 on the essay, and 390 in math).I will be attending Kansas State University this summer to study biology and medical science. I still hope to become an Equine Veterinarian someday.Mom still struggles with living in the moment and not worrying about me all the time, but I have friends whose parents are even more over protective allthough their children have always been healthy. The rest of the zoo is thriving as well. Brian and Meghan go to Porter Ridge Middle school in the fall. Brian still loves all sports, excels in soccer, is a great student, and quite the little class clown. Meghan is our competitor. She strives to out do her brother at all times. She is hard working, determined, and a force to be rekoned with. Lauren is almost nine, going into the fourth grade, loves school and can still talk her father into just about anything! Dad and Mom are doing very well. Dad still works for Bank of America, but tends to work ouit of our home most of time which has been a BIG adjustment for us (he hogs the phone). Mom still keeps busy through school events, substitute teaching in the elementary school, and best of all she is still healthy three years post transplant! That's about it. Hi Wendy, Margo, and any one else that may remember us! We continue to pray for those who are fighting. Take care. Janet and Eileen
