What Cancer Can't do
Cancer is so limited... It cannot cripple love, It cannot shatter hope, It cannot corrode faith, It cannot eat away peace, It cannot destroy confidence, It cannot kill friendship, It cannot shut out memories, It cannot silence courage, It cannot invade the soul, It cannot reduce eternal life, It cannot quench the Holy Spirit, It cannot lessen the power of THE resurrection.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that...you may be able to stand your ground..." Ephesians 6:10,11,13

Friday, October 14, 2005 6:26 PM CDT Hello all! We are fine and finally back online! Our damage from the hurricane was not too extremely bad. Especially compared to the hundreds of people in our area who lost their entire homes and contents. Praise God, once again He has shown us His undeserving, bountiful, grace and mercy! Thank you my most precious Lord! We are ever so thankful! The sad part is that we have a lot of friends that have to move away and that saddens our hearts. We are especially sad that Logan's Oncologist is being moved by the military. She is such a great pediatric oncologist and we hate to loose her but we look forward to what God has in store for us in the future. So, in the mean time we will have to either go to Mobile, AL or Jackson,MS for Logan and Lucas' quarterly appointments. These will be longer days but we will make it through, we've made it through LOTS worse. Can't start complaining now! I will say that the damage here is devastating. I'm sure most, if not all of you, have seen the pictures on t.v. but it just doesn't even do the damage justice. It is heart wrenching. There are no words. However, I have seen God at work! I have seen Jesus in so many people I could not be more thankful. I would not have missed being here through the week without power, 2 weeks without water, and a month and a half without phone. It was so amazing. As you are handing someone much needed water and asking them if they need anything they are asking you the same thing. It was a terrible experience but God shined through just like He always does! Please keep those that are still without homes and contents in your prayers. God Bless each of you and thank you for being such wonderful friends, prayer warriors, and fellow caring bridge partners! In His Love and Service, The Pardue's
