Jacob entered the gates of heaven at appx. 4:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2004. Our miracle on earth is now a miracle in heaven. Journal Thursday, December 31, 2009 4:03 PM CST Happy New Year everyone! 2010, Wow. The time just flies so fast, it's incredible. Things have slowed down on this site, and that's okay. I know there are many who still have Jacob in their hearts and minds and even though they may not be writing, they're still visiting the site. To tell you the truth it's very hard. I've had people request that I update more often and I should. I got a digital picture frame for Christmas and I've been downloading pictures of Jake to put on it and it's actually excruciating at times. If I let myself live in a world of surrounding myself with pictures, videos, etc, I don't think that I'd function. We have pictures in our home on the walls, we talk about him, we talk to him and remember him daily but when you put all of your focus on him it's overwhelming STILL that he's gone. Abbey is doing GREAT! She's 5 1/2 now and ready for Kindergarden next year. She's doing gymnastics and loving it! Tim and I are doing well. He is my rock, there whenever and however I need him.
