MY PRECIOUS ANGEL BRET

BRET WARREN BRADY

September 18,2001- March 28,2005

Bret was diagnosed on May 9,2003 with Ependymoma which is a type of brain cancer. Bret had his first emergency surgery at Children's Mercy in Kansas City Missouri. We ended up at Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital on June 9th where we are currently receiving treatment. Bret has undergone 33 sessions of radiation starting on June 18th and finishing up on August 1st. We came back for his first check up since radiation on October 8th and found out that the tumor had started growing back. We had his second surgery in Memphis removing his tumor and started chemo the week before Thanksgiving. Bret finished his 8th round of chemo in June 2004. We had scans July 2004 and everything was clean. Our first 3 month check up was Oct 25-26. We found out that Bret has at least 6-8 tumors in his brain and one midway down his spine. The Doctors are not giving us a cure right now just time. We have enrolled in a new chemo study that Dr.Gajjar is the chair of. We finished our 2nd round of this new chemo and was home on Dec, 03,2004. That weekend Bret wasn't himself just laying around and not eating. We called St.Jude on Monday and they spoke with our Dr in Kansas City who said come up right away for Ct Scans. This revealed that 3-4 tumors have grown despite the new chemo. The largest tumor was in the front of the brain and it has a large cyst with it that was causing all the pressure. We started Hospice finally the week before Christmas. We don't know how much longer God will let us keep our son so right now we are living everyday. Bret is 3 years old and loves all sports and anything any little boy loves. He also has two older sisters Mckenzie and Kelsie. We are very blessed to be at Saint Jude and we know that God is always watching over us. Please remember Bret in your prayers.

They are a minimum donation of $5.00 per band. We have two sizes: youth and adult. You can either mail a check to our home address or click on the PayPal button and pay with a credit card. If you do use PayPal they charge us about $.45 per $5.00, so please add they charge per band. If you do pay through PayPal please email me your order so that I know how many and what sizes you need. Also if you live out of town please email me your whole address where you would like for these to be sent. I MISS YOU BRET WARREN BRADY!!!

Momma has been fighting with this website for the last two hours. Trying to get new pics of you on here and with the website being down until 5pm my time it has been hard.

Anyway It has been 4years since you left us today at 8:00am. It some ways it seems like yesterday and other it seems like forever ago. I had Nannie take out your flowers and balloons since I am not there in Missouri. I hate that I haven't been there for your birthday or anniv this year.

Your brother always looks at yours pictures and calls you hiss brother. He doesn't know you yet he is proud that he can call you his brother! Benjamin loves as well as all of us!

Since I have wasted the last two hours trying to update everything I have now ran out of time. I promise to update more later.

I LOVE AND MISS YOU VERY EVRY MUCH!!!
