No news is good news they say....
Brandon is loving kindergarten and doing so well. He adjusted to going 7 hours a day very well. His teacher is Mrs. Renee Lovelace at First Baptist Church.
His health has been pretty good since school started. He had a mouth sore and got bacteria in it and it turned into staff infection. He was out of school for 11 days. Since then he has felt fine...that was up until yesterday. We had gone to St. Louis for Mike's mom's Thyroid Cancer surgery and while my parent's were watching Brandon at the Hotel room he woke up throwing up and having diarrhea complaining of stomach pain. He has also been having problems at night with his breathing and his pupils have not been equal with each other. (one is large and the other small). I called the Oncologist on call and we had to take him to the ER at SLCH. We were there for 6 1/2 hours!!!!!! His white blood cell count was 17.3 and his Neutrophils were 89. We were so scared that something bad was happening. His WBC had not been that high since he was on chemo and has not thrown up since he was 3 years old. They diagnosed him with a viral infection and said if he continues to run a temp, diarrhea and vomitting to see the doctor again. His temp tonight is 101.4 and he still has diarrhea. Luckily the vomitting has stopped. I will probably call the doctor tomorrow if he is not better.
Mike's mom is doing well after her surgery. She got to come home today. They removed her thyroid and some lymphnodes also. She goes back in 2 weeks. We can't go see her until Brandon is feeling better.
I don't think he will be able to go to school Monday, but hopefully he will be feeling better.
I had to reschedule my photography session for in the morning. I am glad she was so understanding.
I am doing photography now if I haven't mentioned it before. My website is up and going and I am proud to say that I am doing very well.
My website is : www.kimscottphotography.com
Well, that is all for now. I will update the photo album tomorrow.
Take care and God Bless
