Happy, Happy Birthday, Tiffany!

On Monday, November 12, Tiffany will be celebrating her 21st birthday, a very special milestone in a young person's life. How we wish she was here to celebrate this momentous day with her family and friends. Heaven will surely be an extra glorious place on Monday!

What would she be like now at 21 years old? Would she look the same, with her rosy red cheeks and long flowing hair? How would her personality have changed? Would she have a boyfriend? What college would she be attending, and what would she be studying? What road would she have taken with her life, and what mistakes might she have made along the way? There are endless questions that will never be answered, but we still can't stop wondering.

One thing is for certain: Tiff would still be the same loving, caring, compassionate, kind, thoughtful person that she's always been. No doubt she would still be having a profound and lasting impact on everyone she met. She was a true angel that God only gave us for a short time.

We are blessed with loving family and friends who provide us with emotional support when we need it. Our personal relationship with the Lord sustains us and gives us strength and peace.

We have moved on, albeit with a huge void in our lives.

Tonicia is now 16 years old, recently passed her driver's test, and is the proud owner of her first car. She is in 11th grade and also takes college-level courses through Crown College. She's on the honor roll and doing very well. We are so proud of her.

Tiahnah just celebrated her 6th birthday in October. She attends kindergarten and loves school. We found out recently that she needed glasses. After some initial resistance and a little coaxing, she discovered that she really could see better with them and now wears them all the time.

Tiffany's Christmas tree will be up soon. The ornaments that her family and friends have placed on her tree over the last few years will be there. You are welcome to add an ornament if you like, perhaps one with a special meaning for you or one that reminds you of her.

In case you were not aware, we have established Tiffany's Angel Foundation in honor and in memory of Tiffany. Our goal is to assist children with cancer and their families; bring community awareness to childhood cancer; and support, serve and advocate for children with cancer and their families and the professionals who care for them. Please visit our web site at www.tiffanysangelfoundation.org for more information.

Tiffany, we love you so much and miss you each and every day. You are in our hearts and minds even more now as your birthday and the holidays approach. Know that you are with us in spirit and will never be forgotten.

We hope you have a joyous 21st birthday. We will be thinking of you.
