Mia and Jenell enjoying the snow...

Journal

Happy New Year!

We get to celebrate two "new years" this year.... the American one and the Chinese New Year in February!

I posted (or will try to after I finish this message) a couple of pictures.

Mia loved Christmas. She LOVED her "bubble lights" (the old fashioned kind that have liquid inside) and insisted we turn on the Christmas tree every morning and sing "Gloria" with the Angel on top. So fun.
Unfortunately, both Coop and I had a nasty flu right before Christmas for almost a week. Jenell, who was home from college, became not only big sister but also "nanny" to Mia for that time. Thank the Lord for college Christmas Break! We also missed having Neacail home for Christmas, but at least he got out of changing diapers while we were sick on the couch!

Once we were healed up we had a nice holiday, though. We spent time (and ate and played games, and ate some more...) with the Habedanks and the Stewarts and many of our friends. We got out cross country skiing and sledding, even took Mia skiing - she was in a sled behind me....quite the adventure, especially on hills! Coop and I also got out for a day of skiing by ourselves (thanks to RARA-RickAndreaRenaeAustin- for watching Mia:-)!

Hope everyone is well and hope to see you in 2005!!!

Lisa "habba" Stewart
p.s. I'm blaming the flu for not getting out Christmas cards yet....maybe they'll get out by President's Day? Easter?.... :-)
