Hello everyone,

It has been 364 days since Michael arrived, and it is time to update this web page.

It has been an exciting year. A baby arriving 3 months early. Spending 2 months in NICU. Another 3 weeks in Waconia, and 4 months of isolation at home. Baptism in May. Roseola (baby measles) on the 4th of July, which ended up with a 103 degree fever and 2 worried parents going to the emergency room at 7 am that morning. On the plus side, 5 new teeth, only 1 small cold, 0 ear infections!! and 1 very happy little boy who has progressed on schedule through smiling, sitting, crawling, and now standing and on the verge of learning to walk. He is now 27.5 inches and 20 lbs.

We are very greatful to everyone. For all the rides to the cities, for all the baby clothes, gifts, and hand-me-downs, and especially to our families and 2 wonderful grandmothers who watch him 2 days a week, each. There is no way we can repay our debt of gratitude to all of you.

Only by the Grace of God have we reached this point. 12 months ago, we could only have dreamed that he would have turned out so well and be such a bright light in our lives. We love him very much.

This will be the last update. Please visit the new photos. Please sign the guest book at least once. We plan on copying all the entries, journal and guest book, and keeping it in some type of scrap book.
