Marcus Site.

Welcome to Marcus' Web Page. It has been provided to keep family and friends updated about Marcus' journey. This brave 7 year old boy was dx with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on April 4, 2003. The road was not smooth, hence we had a Bone Marrow Transplant on Aug 15,2003. Sadly Marcus relapsed after 3 months post translpant. After a couragous battle Marcus passed on January 14,2004. I encourage all of you to donate blood and platelets(which is different from donating blood) as these children require frequent transfusions. I fear the day when there is no blood to give.
Thank you so much for blessing our hearts with your love.
Lots of Love and Prayers
Teresa and Angel Marcus

Ask my Mom how she is
My Mom, she tells alot of lies
she never did before.
From now until she dies,
she'll tell a whole lot more.
Ask my Mom how she is
and because she can't explain,
She will tell a little lie
because she can't describe the pain.
Ask my Mom how is she,
She'll say "I'm alright."
If that's the truth, then tell me,
why does she cry each night?
Ask my Mom how is she,
she seems to cope so well.
She didn't have a choice you see
nor the strength to yell.
Ask my Mom how she is,
"I'm fine, I'm well, I'm coping."
For Gods sake Mom, just tell the truth
just say your heart is broken.
She'll love me all her life,
I loved her all of mine.
But if you ask her how is she
she'll lie and say she's fine.
I am here in Heaven.
I cannot hug from here.
If she lies to you don't listen,
Hug her and hold her near.
On the day we meet again,
we'll smile and I'll be bold.
I'll say, "You're lucky to get in here, Mom
with all the lies you told!"

Hello dear friends
Yes i know it has been awhile. Life has been busy and before i know it time has past. That is a good thing... I was reminded today by a dear friend that i had not updated and was hoping i was ok. Well I am doing "ok" as life will let me. I just find it hard to come here and update when things are not exciting. Oh but i did do Relay for Life on Friday night-I walked from 7pm -7am (with rest in between ofcourse) It was a great night of gather of over 2000 people who were there walking for cancer. It was a touching night and reminds me of all the love there is in the world...

So i am working still and back in school parttime to get my degree. I really want to teach nursing as well as do patient care. I want it all...not alot to ask!!! It keeps me busy which i need. I have gone through some rough days this winter-but the sun is out now and i am hoping for brighter days for me also.

I hope all is well with everyone and that yur health and happiness is good. Please remember to go out and donate blood/platlets...someone today needs you to help save their life... thank you so much...

I will close for now and thank you for checking in on me and leaving a message. Plese remember to hug your children and let them know how much you love them.

Marcus i am always listening and you are always in my heart...

I LOVE YOU TO THE POWER OF INFINITY...AND BEYOND....
