Lucas's current condition - "Stable Calcified Disease Remaining". Fortunately, this is something that children with this type of cancer can live a normal and healthy life with.

Wow...it has been so long since I last updated! I will start out by letting everyone know that Lucas is just about done with the phlebotomies! His ferritin count has went from over 3,000 to under 90! We have to keep doing them until it is below 50, which should only be a couple more times...if that!
Lucas just started growth hormones on Friday (2 days ago). Today he has been complaining about headaches, so I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad to where they may have to do some adjustments on his dosage. After getting back home from his phlebotomy appointment on Friday, Lucas was complaining about his privates hurting. So we took him into urgent care and he has a bacteria. We will find out Monday what that is from. I just hope it's nothing bad, because it just seems as though Lucas never gets a break! It would be nice if he could go even a year without problems, but that doesn't seem to be the case lately.
Please say a prayer for him in hopes that everything is okay. He is such a fighter! My boys are my life!
