WOW i should realy get on here more.

Kayden had a realy good year until about 2 months ago he got a nasty congestion cold that stayed around for 2 months. This was not hard to handel at all for him as he did very well but 2 weeks ago came down with pneumonia. He was looking very sick for a while but has pulled through it just fine.Kayden continues to show us just how strong he is and just how much he loves life.Im so happy and honored to be his mommy and to have so much time with hime. Kayden will be 9 years old this June so hard to imagian how we even got through the first couple years with the trach and all glad that is gone.I pray that he continues to fight and do well and is healthy.

I recently got to travel to New York to speak to a group of 300 plus different Dr's about kayden. This was a ethics meeting myself and anotehr mom chose to attend because the topic was trisomy 18 to treat or not to treat. We went to show the other side most are never told about. The speakers were not to thrilled we were there as he wanted to preach how these kids should have nothing done for them. The audience applauded us and many came up and talked to us after.I loved having this opportunity and helping others see that trisomy 18 can be compatible with life.

Im also working with our city on a all inclusive acssable playground. The city of Baxter has donated the land and after one more meeting we can start letter grant writing and fundraising to raise all the money needed to make this dream come true.I have met with little tykes and picked out equipment and blueprints and made.I can not wait to see this all start to unfold.

Braden and Jaiden are almost done with school and Bmx is almost ready to start so we will be very busy with that shortly. They both love BMX.we are all happy that the warm weather has finaly started hitting our way. They have been playing lots of basketball in the driveway and loving running all around in shorts.

We had a nice low key Easter. The day befor we went to 2 easter egg hunts and a birthday party.Easter Sunday we went to church and then out for lunch with some family and friends.Came hoem and planted some more flowers and then enjoyed a nice dinner together befor bed.

Im so blessed and thankfull for my 3 wonderful boys and helping loving husband.I look forward and pray for many more years to come.
