Journal
Sunday, August 2, 2009 11:20 AM CDT Happy 10th Birthday Katja! You were born exactly 10 years ago today at this time. I will never forget the joy you brought to our lives.
We had your cousins, Grandma, Grandpa, Gwen and Kris over, ate pizza, and had your birthday cake tonight. I finally took out the present I had bought 8-years ago for your 10th birthday. I had bought it when you were two and because I hoped that you were going to beat the cancer, so it was a symbol of hope. I still miss you every day. Evan is going to Kindergarten this fall and will have the same teacher you were going to have in Kindergarten. Mrs. Huebsch will have a chance to see you through Evan.
