WELCOME BACK TO CALLI'S PAGE!
I've had several requests to keep this site updated even when we are not in the hospital. So here's the update.

We've been home for over a month now and Calli has been back in school for 3 weeks. Everyone there was thrilled to have her back, and so was my back. :) We got home just in time to see Justin and Chandler play their final football games for the season. Now we are awaiting the start of Hockey for HeeSoo, Wrestling for Justin, and Homework for Chandler (unless he picks a sport at the last minute)

It is often said that hardships can be blessings in disguise. One of these blessings has come from a new medication that Calli is on. It is allowing her to have a normal sleep cycle. This means for the first time in 9 years she is sleeping through the night on a consistent basis. WOW is this ever incredible. Overall I would have to say she's been happier and more content than ever.

We are still feeding jujunally over 20 hours a day. She is tolerating this and her new formula very well. I think she has pretty much gained back the weight she lost while sick. She has gone right back to potty training here as well as at school. She is walking with her gait trainer and riding her bike daily at school too.

Calli is going to be NINE on November 12th. AMAZING ISN'T IT? I'll update the pictures as soon as I get my camera fixed. Right now I can't download them to my computer.

We are still short a nurse for Calli. We have hired a friend of mine to help fill in the hours for the time being. Calli has already learned how to play her. Her other two nurses have been great help getting our home schedule back to "normal".

Carlyn is finally home from nearly 3 weeks of farming. The crops were good and the field work is done until spring. Now the whole family has to adjust to a two parent household again.

I am back on the schedule as an EMT and having a great time with the start of my mom's group. We are reading the book "When I Lay My Isaac Down" by Carol Kent. An excellent read.

Check back soon for further updates.
