Ok...I guess it's time to update the page...its only been almost 1 year.

Brett is doing pretty well, for the most part. He's been back at school full time & played Basketball & Baseball this year. He is pitching, playing 1st base & also plays the outfield occasionally. He is enjoying being back with all of his friends & life is getting more & more back to normal.

The Morrison Country Record came out & did an article on Brett a few weeks ago. Brett mentioned that he wanted to play for the Lastrup Lakers quite a few times & when it went in the paper, he got a call from the Manager who asked him to be the bookkeeper this year, until he is old enough to play. He is very excited about the opportunity & will be starting on Sunday.

Brett still takes chemo pills everyday & goes for his chemo injection once a month. Every 3rd month he has surgery to have the chemo injected into his spine. We will continue this maintenance routine until July of 2007. We are counting down the months of this 3 1/2 year process & looking forward to the end.

Brett's band group is taking a Bahamas cruise in Feb 2007. He is really excited about that. I wish I could say the same, but I still hate to fly and somehow I got nominated to head up the parent committee. Go figure!

I will try to update at least every 3 months from now on.
