Anthony Ford Anthony with Michael Bennett(a classic Anthony picture.
Welcome to the home page of Anthony's website. He was diagnosed with Accute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with Philadelphia Chromosome (ALL-PH+)on October 30,2004. This is a type of Leukemia that is rare in children. Anthony's type of Leukemia required a bone marrow transplant which he received a Periphal Stem Cell transplant March 25,2005. June 9,2005 we received news that Anthony had relapsed and we went through Chemo again.
Anthony fought a tough battle with his Leukemia, his goal was to beat this cancer and return to a normal life of just being a kid. Anthony looked forward to the day when he could go to school, play with his friends, and play what he enjoyed most, which was hockey.
On April 12, 2006 at 3:15pm, Anthony passed away at home with family and friend close to his side. Anthony is now in heaven playing his favorite game(hockey) and eating his favorite food at the consession stand(in heaven they serve Prime Rib at the consession stands). We miss our little boy and love him so much, but we know that he is in heaven, free of pain. He is our little angel now.

Monday, February 8, 2010 8:36 PM CST HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY ANTHONY!!
We miss you so much. It's so hard to believe that you are 13 years old today, a teenager..WOW. We can only imagine what you would look like and what we would be doing today. I'm sure with all the snow we got today we'd be going sledding or something fun. Dad and I did have Prime Rib this weekend to celebrate your birthday. I sure hope you enjoyed it. I know it wasn't George's, but hope was okay.
We love you sweetheart and we hope you have a fabulous day in Heaven!
Love you with our whole hearts, Mom and Dad
