Ann Bentler's Update

Welcome to Ann's Page. It has been provided to keep people updated of her condition.
Many people have said that their thoughts and prayers will be with Ann. If you're like me sometimes I need some help to describe my thoughts in prayer.

In order to help those of you like myself I copied a prayer from Doddie Osteen's book..Healed of Cancer.

Ann appreciates all of your prayers no matter how short or lengthly.

Thank you, Brian

Oh God, our Father, Your Word says that You are a very present help in the time of need. I come to You now on Behalf of Ann who is suffering with disease. Father, I ask You in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to touch and heal her.
Distance is no problem for You, God. As I pray, You are there with Ann, even as close as her very breathe.

Now you foul disease. I speak to you. Go from Ann's body in the Name of Jesus Christ! I command you to wither and die in the Name of Jesus! I permit healing to come to Ann in the name of Jesus.
Father, I ask You to replace with new cells those that have been damaged. God, you can do that because what is impossible with man is possible with You. You are a God who cares, and we believe You will do it just because we have asked. You love us that much.
Father, may strength and wholeness come into Ann's body this very day. Thank you Lord for doing it.
I thank You, Jesus, that we will hear good reports from people who have been healed because they held fast to their confession of faith without wavering because You are faithful who promised. Thank You, Father, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Please read the Journal History - dated December 2004 for a history of Ann's disease.

Ann will be in surgery on January 25th and in the hospital for 10-21 days.

One of the many verses that has brought meaning to Ann is Luke 5:12-13. "Lord if you are willing you can make me clean". Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"
Thank you !

Welome back. Thank you for checking in. It's been awhile so I thought I would provide an update on what Ann has been up to.

On Sunday Aug 19 we let go of our daught in Dallas at the SMU campus.

After dropping off Ashley we drove up to Omaha. Ann's dream 2.5 years ago was to be alive when Ashley graduated from high school and headed off to college. The dream came true. Ann and myself are very proud that Ashley is attending college.

The drive to Omaha through and near some major thunderstorms in Omaha area was a little exciting but not nearly as exciting a the news Dr. Loggie was about to give.

Ann galstone remains firmly in place.

Her tumor markers continue to jump around but appear to be normal or at least mostly normal. They jump out of normal and back down. Just enough to keep things interesting. Her CT scans remain clear so we were very happy to hear Dr. Loggie say that if we didn't want to visit him in the winter we didn't have to. He felt that it would be fine to come back in early spring. No sense in driving to Omaha in the snow.

We are very blessed for all of you and for the recovery Ann experienced.

Thank you for the payers and for being part of Ann's cure.

Love,

Brian, Ann, and Ashley (In Dallas, TX)
