Hi, all,

We are so excited to say that Andrew once again had CLEAR scans yesterday!!! He is now 2 1/2 years out of treatment, which is the half way mark to calling him CURED!!! What a day that will be!

Andrew was pretty nervous and upset about getting his blood drawn yesterday, but overall he did pretty well. He cried but didn't pull away, which was just fine with me.

He still continues to have pooling of fluid in his remaining kidney and his blood pressure does appear to be on the rise again. His nephrologist did say that just because he got off the blood pressure medication that didn't mean he wouldn't be put back on it again. So I guess in a way it was expected. I know there are much worse things to deal with than high blood pressure.

We meet with his nephrologist tomorrow. There were a couple things off with his labs, so we'll need to discuss those and the pooling in his kidney.

It was kind of wild because when he was getting his ultra sound the tech had to switch to a bigger wand to get the entire kidney on the screen. He has one super-sized kidney! The body is just amazing!

Well, thanks for checking in with us!

Love,
Melissa
