Welcome to Alex's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about our son.
May of 2004, we were told that our son had a brain tumor. He was admitted to the PICU at Childrens Mpls. He had a MRI that night and surgery the next day. We were then told that the tumor was cancerous. Our world came crashing down for the 2nd time in a few days. Alex had 6 weeks of radiation and 9 chemo treatments, and has been cancer free for 2 years.

Tuesday, February 3, 2009 4:39 PM CST I know it has been a LONG time. It is just like the old saying no news is good news. Alex is doing GREAT in his new school. The left side of his brain is now up to speed. Meaning that anything controled by the left side of the brain is at normal ranges. The right side is still behind, but we are hopful it will catch up too. He is still growing lots. We have to go to MPLS the end of Feb to check on his growth. By the way I am having to buy new pants I would say he is growing fine. We like Alexandria and making lots of new friends, and settled into your new house. Thanks for checking in. Lots of Love.
