Sunday, July 27, 2008 8:44 PM CDT Hello Everyone. Its been a while since we've updated the site. Where to start....Chip is doing well. His one lung seems to be struggling a little bit again. His oxygen is lower on the one side than when he is on his other or on his back. He continues to be junky and needs to be suctioned quite often. He is still on 2 liters of oxygen. I can't get him to go past that. His oxygen goes down under 85-88 if I bring him down to a 1 1/2 of oxygen. He needs a couple of teeth pulled out in a couple of weeks. He has his ups and downs. He looked quite pale today but Steve got a smile out of him. David is doing ok. He had a tooth pulled out this past week. He has been kind of out of it this weekend. Seemed very tired. He goes to summer school to the middle of August and then has a couple of weeks off. Amy has been busy taking swimming lessons and playing with a few friends. We took Amy on a mini vacation to a friends cottage for one night and two days at the beach. She told us she was having the best day of her life. She spend alot of time on the beach and in the water. This was the first time we actually went away with just her. We had nursing help for the boys. We have been busy trying to get blankets and pillowcases for the hospital, getting ready for our walk Miles For MPS on Sat. Sept 20th here in Grand Rapids. Thanks for checking in on us. In Christ, Steve,Laurel,David,Chip and Amy
