Dear Friends
I have not checked this site for quite awhile but lately felt I needed to see what has happened the past few weeks.

It appears that we all have moved on, thankful for this site but now aware that the journey for Terry is over. But the journey for the girls and me is still very much in process.

If you read this then please pray for us. Lisa is now in the Seattle Wa area at Camp Arnold, a Salvation Army camp where she is the Assistant Director of the outward bound type camp for at-risk youth....in Mt Rainier Park area.

She has an interview this week to see also about running a coffee house that is to be part of a new church plant in downtown Seattle. This is her dream job and so she is hopeful the situation will work out for her.

RAchel drove with Lisa to Seattle this week and will fly home to be with me this summer and next year as she finishes her nursing degree at Calvin. She is not sure what she will do with her summer---but she will rest abit and she will help me clean up the house---and play!

I had my first "grief meltdown" this week and it was unexpected and major. As I consult other widows I become aware that this is a long and hard road ahead of me. I am so thankful for my faith and for the friends and family that support me.

I read Terry's Bible every morning. Since he wrote all over it the time is like a Bible study for me! It is like communing with Terry and learning from him. I am so thankful for this incredible discipline that my husband had.

I am soon to shut down my cell phone for all but emergency calls and will sometime in July probably stop my AOL account and switch to my CAlvin account, which is listed on the contact info below. Our home phone remains the same.

I am staying in the house at least this year as I determine if I can stay after that time. The details of life continue to unfold!

Please pray for my work life and my new life that is emerging. I need to connect with a good grief group, new singles to hang out with and new interests and purposes.

But most of all I need to hear the Lord's voice telling me what it is I am to do to glorify and honor my God. As Terry said---living is not about the why, but about the how.
How do I live to serve my Lord.

Blessings to you my dear friends.
