MY REALITY

Welcome to Ethan's Web Page!
Ethan was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 5, 2002 at the age of 18 months. He went into remission 3 weeks later, and stayed there until july 23, 2003. It was on that day he had his first CNS relapse. He was 40 weeks into his protocal, with an 8 week delay. He then started a 22 week protocal that the doctors put together, but relapsed again 11 weeks into it. He's had many surgeries, blood & platelet transfusions, countless bone marrow asperations, spinal taps(with chemo injections), & hospital admissions for chemotherapy or fevers. He's had heavy radiation, & a bone marrow transplant. He's also had a few upper & lower gi scopes, & a bronchial scope. He survived a near fatal battle with cmv virus, overcame ttp virus, a large abdominal hematoma & pancreatitis! in august, he lost his eyesight due to both retinas detatching, but in september, God preformed a miracle & both retinas reattached! MEDICALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!! then, because of 2 tumors on the spine, ethan was unable to walk. again, God preformed a miracle & was able to walk again!!! he had 3 tumors all together, 2 on the spine & 1 over his sinuses. He is the strongest, bravest boy I know!!!!!! God brought him a long way. Ethan's journey was not an easy one, but our gracious God was always faithful!! THANK YOU for your thoughts, prayers, & messages of encouragement! I wish I could tell you how much of a difference you truly make!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
