Ashleigh started limping April 28, 2004. After many visits to the doctor, Ashleigh was diagnosed with Stage IV, high risk Neuroblastoma June 7, 2004, one month before her third birthday. After 6 rounds of chemo, Ashleigh was NED (No Evidence of Disease) in November 2004. She received a stem cell transplant November 27, 2004. On December 8, 2004 she was admitted to PICU with complications from her transplant. With a miraculous recovery, Ashleigh was discharged home January 21, 2005. After a wonderful 8 months, Ashleigh relapsed with Neuroblastoma September 7, 2005. On March 29, 2006, 21 months since her diagnosis, our beautiful angel on earth passed away at home and became the most beautiful angel in heaven.
We miss you so much, in so many ways, But we'll be together again in heaven one day.
We love you Monkey!
