~~ The kids December 15, 2007 ~~
Angelina and her sister Allison are surviving, spontaneous triplets born October 25, 2001 at 25 6/7 weeks gestation due to premature rupture of membranes (PROM)of Angelina's sac at week 14 gestation and chorioamnionitis.
Allison has no health complications. She attends general education preschool, fights with her sister and their six year old brother, Stephen, and is a true princess at heart.
Angelina's health history includes chronic lung disease, asthma, ROP, nearsightedness, gastrostomy tube (g-tube/Mic-key button) due to failure to thrive, oral aversion, ASD, VSD, bicuspid aortic valve, chronic ear infections (bilateral PE tubes placed three times in the left ear, four in the right), and some physical delays. Angelina attends general education preschool class with Allison! She is a true miracle, along with her sister. Everyone who meets her can't help but love her. She is our sunshine night and day!

Journal
Tuesday, December 18, 2007 11:19 AM EST Another Christmas is soon approaching and I just don't know where the time has gone.
Angelina is doing really well. Kindergarten suits her. For this year only the girls are in the same class. I'd keep them together forever but it's probably not a good idea for them....even if I love the idea!
Putting up our tree this year was hard for me. The kids did a super job at being loving and caring with me, but I cried through the whole thing. So many things on that tree represent times in my life that my mom recognized or things that she cared enough to give me. At ages 6 and 8 the kids feel enough of her loss to try take it easy on me when they see me having a tough time.
We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I think most of us are looking forward to turning the page to 2008 and making more memories as a family!
