Elle

Well i guess id better introduce myself, I'm Eleanor but most people call me Elle, i live in London UK and have suffered from M.E. for 6 1/2 years, I was severely affected for 3 yrs but am doing lots better now although I'm still at home and using a wheelchair. I am 19 years old (20 very soon!) and my birthdate is 15/10/86. I live with my sister Anne-Marie who is 16 and my mum.

it is hard to explain what M.E. is but it basically means i feel extreamly tired and in a lot of pain all the time, i have a permanaent headache and find it hard to sit up, walk etc. and have to use a wheelchair if i go out. There's some more information here: http://www.ayme.org.uk

i Hope everyone is well! xxx

Hi all!

Sorry for the long delay inbetween entries! My chest continues to play up but luckily the tests were more or less clear so they're not sure what's going on but luckily it isn't anything serious, I've just finished another round of antibiotics for another chest infection though (My 5th in 3 months!) and I still have a cough but there are far worse things so I'm surviving and smiling at the moment!

Otherwise my health is okish, still a bit worse than normal M.E. and headpain wise but I'm hoping it's just a small blip. I've also managed to hurt my fingers the last week but never mind! I'm resting lots and getting prepared for Christmas! We just got back from Oxford and seeing my dad for a mini xmas with him. Tomorrow I'm going to rest and then we may go to mass in the Evening. Traditionally we go on Christmas day but the past few years I either have gone on Christmas Eve or not at all jsut because it makes it such a long day/days. But I'm going to see how I go tomorrow! In any case I'm looking forward to it!

We don't have much planned for Christmas, we'll probably go next door and have lunch in my aunties which'll be lovely! My Grandma is coming round the day after boxing day so that'll be nice too!

I'm hoping to go to a friends for New Years, mum has the week off inbetween Xmas and New Years so It'll be lovely to spend lots of time together!

Anyway I'm wishing you all a:

Or Happy Holidays! :)

Elle x
