Keeping up with Callie
Welcome to Callie's page. It has been provided to keep people updated about her health and activities. Callie is a very spunky 4 year old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type 2. Callie and Megan like to chill out in their new PJ's made by Aunt Nancy. Journal Thursday, Jan. 25, 2006 5:59 AM CST It is official! Callie was able to get through a nasty cold without being admitted to the hospital! This is the first time that has happened in about 3 years! Hooray! We did make a trip to the JHH ER for a chest x-ray and to let the docs check her out. Callie did not seem to mind that at all- since she did not have to get any needle sticks or other nasty stuff AND she got to spend some time with one of her favorite Child Life Specialists. This kid needs some socialization! So, while we would love to have one good snow storm and have it really feel like winter - we need cold and flu season to be over so Callie can get out of the house an visit her friends and cousins.
