Davis's Page Welcome to Davis's Page. It has been provided to keep family and friends updated about Davis's care. Davis was diagnosed with a soft tissue tumor called rhabdomyosarcoma June 2002. The location of his tumor was in his left cheek area, behind the orbit to the base of his brain. He endured 52 weeks of chemotherapy and 28 days of proton radiation therapy (in Boston). Since August 2003 Davis has been declared in remission!
Journal
Wednesday, June 28, 2006 9:59 AM CDT It has been so long since I journaled that it took a few minutes for me to remember how to access to update. We've had alot of excitement with the birth of Hadley on April 13 and Davis becoming a BIG brother! He has been awesome and such a big help. Hadley is now 10 weeks old. Her face lights up when she sees Davis. It makes my heart melt watching them interact!
Davis is still doing well as far as his health goes. He has a routine CT scan August 8. Just in time to get that behind us before he starts kindergarten. Davis has been busy playing baseball, swimming, going to camps and playing with friends. We are trying to participate in the public library reading program. It's definitely not top priority on Davis's list right now!!!
Hope all is well with everyone. Thanks for checking on us and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers!
