Micah Cop

In June 2003 Micah was diagnosed with Aplastic Anaemia (Severe). A life threatening illness. His bone marrow had shut down and blood transfusions sustained him. His sister Keilee was born 6 days later. Her cord blood was not a match for a bone marrow transplant. After drug therapy and the use of Glyconutrients and much prayer, Micah is well on his way to beating this awful illness.

It's been nearly 12 months since my last entry and I wonder if anyone actually visits anymore. I am hesitant to close this page down as I pray that it has and will be a blessing to others that stop by. It kinda makes our experiences have a little more meaning.

As time goes on I feel less and less inclinded to share of Micah's illness and the challenges we've been through unless it is in the case of encouraging someone or giving hope to the hopeless. It's no longer a point of conversation or a need for simpathy. I'm sure we all get to that point at some time. Some sooner than others.
Micah is such an amazing kids that has so many other great thing about him that are far more interesting to share.
This year saw us move to Victoria and Micah and Keilee started a new school. They have settled in very well and the school community are great.
Stefan is a teacher at their school and Micah comes to Stefs class for Maths.
Micah has begun Gymnastics this year and is soon to start Auskick.
He is still catagorised as in remission but it has been 5yrs now and our visits to hospital still remain at yearly.
He is still very small for his age, but as we all know GREAT things come in small packages.
Id really like to know if anyone still stops by our page so please leave a message or feel free to drop me an email.
Love and Blessings
Mel
