Trying to figure out how to contact the support website-The Jake Owen Raborn Foundation. I have a family member who is needing some support and I thought this foundation helped with things like this. I watched the video about Jake and it melted my heart. Now there is a family member who is struggling with their son with a rare cancer as well, and I really needed some help. I tried to go to the jakeowen foundation but it takes me to a Japanese or Chinese page? Could anyone guide me in the right direction? Here is the web page set up for the little one who needs help with his cancer.. Thanks for your help and support everyone. http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/battle-for-brayden/261312#.VGGCYfJ5g40.facebook

Sitting here unable to sleep and Jake is on my mind. Didn't even know if the page was still up. Seems crazy that what seems to be both not very long ago, but yet forever ago, I used to stay on here checking on that sweet baby. Time goes by and life goes on, but Jake made such an impression in so many lives that no matter how much time passes, he will always be remembered. I still count it such an honor to have been able to know him on a personal level. He was such a strong and brave little boy. What a hero!!!

I was helping answer phones at our local radio station's St. Jude telethon yesterday and heard Mo telling Jake's story, but it was so noisy in there I couldn't hear it very well. Today, while listening at home, I heard Don & Staci telling Jake's story. Oh my gosh... its a good thing I couldn't hear it last night because I was beyond being in tears!!!!! I followed Jake's story for so long and now I follow Mo's blog. I feel like I know your family, and feel like I've loved Jake as much as you! Hopefully someday our paths will cross. Missing Jake with you and keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers! Love & Hugs from Minnesota

We are so sorry for your loss. Jake is such a beautiful boy. Obviously, you are all getting great help from heaven and the good people on this earth. What a tribute to Jake to give back and help oncology families. Your foundation is helping so many people. We lost our little girl, Anna, www.caringbridge.org/visit/annaschindler in June of 2010 and have also started a foundation: www.annaschindlerfoundation.org to raise money for research and support oncology families. We pray for your continued success and healing of heartache. God Bless

Just watched your touching story on the lottery winners show on TLC and was very touched. I am also from Louisiana near New Orleans. My daughter was diagnosed with cancer in 2002. She is in remission. I also know several friends who have children with cancer. Many have gone to St Jude. I appreciate what you are doing to help others in need. If everyone with money could give some back, the world may not be in such turmoil. Your selfless act is honorable. GOD bless u and your family. Remember that Jake is in a better place now and lived his short life to the fullest he could. There is not one picture of him without a big smile.
Take care and thank you,

Just wanted to post an update on my niece, Molly's, condition. On November 23rd at the Doctor's appt to hear the final pathology results and review the 2nd opinions, we were told that Molly DOES NOT HAVE CANCER. The details are on her Caringbridge site. Exactly 2 weeks after hearing the most devastating news and being told she would probably not live more than 2 months, we were given a miracle. We knew God was in the midst of our sorrow and that He was in control. We are grateful for the blessing He bestowed but, even if our precious Molly would've have been called Home, we were set to give Him all the glory. Thank you again, Jin Jin, for posting on her Caringbridge page and for acknowledging my heartbreak. You all are a family of inspiration and continue to shine Jake's bright light.

I am an old "Believer" and followed sweet Jake when I heard about him towards the latter part of his journey. I now follow Melanie's blog and feel like I know this whole incredible family. Who knew that I would be a part of this "club"? We found out this week that my 3 week old niece has a brain tumor. I am coming to your family the only way I know how and I am hoping you'll even see this. You know this heartbreak. Molly's Caringbridge site is

www.caringbridge.org/visit/mollylyda

If you would visit her page and sign her guestbook, I know it would mean the world to my brother and sister-in-law. This is an amazing little family. Pass this on to everyone you know that will offer words of hope and encouragement and PRAYER. Thank you!

Blessings,

Jake is never far from my mind, his pictures are everywhere in my office and it's littered with the word Believe. I was in Charlotte this weekend for the race and saw J.J.Yeley sporting a Jake Owen Raborn Foundation hood. I, being from Louisiana and following along with his battle through our own battle with my neice, gave several people this web site to read all about Jake and the amazing job y'all are doing in his honor. It truly was amazing to be able to share this with other people this weekend, you see today is the anniversary of my neices gaining her angel wings. I love being able to bring people to sites where donations can be made to defeat this horrible disease.

Yesterday I was in a funk and I just couldn't put my finger on why. Today, when I got to work and changed my voicemail greeting, I looked at the calender and realized why. Yesterday was Oct 5th. The day sweet Jake went to live with our Heavenly Father. I can not believe it has already been 3 years. My how I miss that sweet boy.
My son Grant is 4 1/2, and when I look at him I try to imagine only having a few months left with him. It instantly brings tears to my eyes and cuts deep to my core and I have been lucky enough to have had 4+ healthy years with my son. I admire your strength. My heart simply breaks for what your family has had to endure. I so wish I could take the pain away. Please take comfort in knowing that there are MANY, MANY people out there continuing to pray for your family's healing, remembering your sweet Jake and most of all...BELIEVING!

I think of you everyday. I have a picture of you on my desk and I see it everyday and I am reminded of your beautiful smile and how full of life you were. You truly taught us all that we should "Live like we were dyin'" everyday.
Send your mom and dad lots of love today, they miss you terribly and love you to the moon and back. And when Kyle get there, show him around and play with him until his mommy can be with him again.
To Don and Staci and Crew, we are keeping you all in our prayers everyday but we remembering Jake and smiling today for we know he is running and playing and having the time of life with EmmeGrace, Stanton and Zoie but he is keeping a watchful eye on his little sister and his entire family. Hi. Just stopped by to share this with you. Our family is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church here in Memphis. At church on Sunday we read a message saying that the times for church services were about to change. There would now be a 9:30 church services and GET THIS MO!... an 11:11 am service. I mean really, who schedules an 11:11 am service? Why not 11:10 - you would think that would make better sense?! I LOVE IT though because it makes me think of Jake! We'll be attending the 11:11am service every Sunday! :)

Hi This is Molly Frey's Grandma Sue, Just want you to know we always prayed for Jake and you made us believers. Mo was here last summer and I am so happy both of you sisters have healthy baby girls now and that the older boys are doing good. You all deserve as much happiness as you can even though you have that hole in your heart for Jake. I just wanted you to check Molly's page and see if you can get some of your prayer warriors on her case. wi/littlemissmolly.com We are all living on the edge right now. I am the weak old lady that loses it at times, but eejoy every minute with all my grandchildren. Love Grandma Sue

Just thinking about Jake this morning as I work on my fundraising page for the Dec. marathon (gonna try the 1/2 this year). The 2009 graduating class of PTA students wrote me a big check yesterday to donate to Team Jake... Jake lives on in every one who hears or tells his story -- Go Team Jake!!

Happy Belated Birthday, Staci! I have been checking in on you guys for a few years now and don't think I have ever signed in, I was one of those silent stalkers. My son was treated at St. Jude for AML in 2003 and thankfully is healthy today. I wanted to let you guys know that when I ran the Grizzly 5K in 2006 and 2008 Jakes pictures were an inspiration to me and great motivation since I was familiar with everything he had gone through. I just wanted to let you know that I still think about Jake and all the others who did not make it. I hope that your family is doing well and that you had a wonderful birthday, you deserve it.

Judy and Family , our prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time. The Lord is still in charge and will help with your every need in giving you the strength to cope with whatever is required. We must appreciate the pleasant times we have in this world and dwell on those rather than the unpleasant ones. It is not what is placed on our plate but rather how we handle what is there. The sun will come up each morning although at times we will not be able to see it. God's promises are new every morning. Tell Max Carol has sent him a big fat kiss. Bill & Carol

Hi, I am Molly Freys grandma and am out scouting for some of your pray warriors. Mo and her little girl came to visit us when they were in WI. We really enjoyed meeting them. People can be so stupid and mean, I hope they can get their blogs back up and those who can't possibly understand living with a sick child will just stay off caringbridge. Our little Molly needs another liver transplant. She has had 2 serious bleeds due to portal hypertension and had to be med-aired to Madison. Thankfully they got the bleeding stopped, but the only cure to stop the varicies in her little body from forming and bleeding is a new liver. Please send prayers and drum up some of your prayer warriors for us. Her caringbridge sight is WI littlemissmolly. Thank you and we think of you often. Grandma Sue

What a touching resemblance between Maddi and Jake when looking at the pictures on your blog. I have never signed Mo or your blogs, or Jake's site, before (though I have followed and prayed for you all for many years) but figured it was about time now. Your entire family is such an inspiration. We began following Jake's journey when my daughter's classmate was diagnosed with leukemia and then went home to heaven during 6th grade. One of my best friend's kids was then diagnosed with cancer and went home to heaven as well. Throughout it all, Jake's site (and Jacob D's site) was a constant inspiration to us and really a tremendous help in helping us understand and relate to those families we knew more personally. We actually feel now we know all your families just as well, Staci and Mo! We can never thank you enouth for sharing, as it has been a source of strength for us as well as obviously innumerable others. What great ambassadors you have been of love, support, and strength, and how to deal with adversity and how to rejoice in hope! I admire you, Mo, and your families/friends so much for your wonderful bond and commitment to help others! You are all extraordinary and we consider ourselves privileged to be able to share in your journeys. Our best to Mo too, we miss her and hope to "see" her soon!
Sending our love & support to all!

I can't believe that people have the B...s to even dare to say anything about Stacy and Mo. Once you become part of this Cancer world you start to see what is really important in life. FOR SURE......those who made those bad comments have no idea. I love both of your blogs and I wake up every morning wanting to turn on my computer to read both blogs. Thanks for the return. I really hate that there are those that have to be negative for whatever unexplainable reason. I have been a follower for such a long time and feel as if I have come to know your family. Thanks so much for opening the blog back up. I really have found courage to do things I once thought were difficult, knowing that it is nothing compared to what Jake endured - with such a funny, contagious spirit. I have to admit I join one of the many others that has been silently following Jake's journey for many years now. That sweet face just captured my heart and from then on every day started with checking on him (and all of you). I understand the privacy and hate that people had to drive you to this point. I miss MoJoy. I miss scrapbook talk (my Halloween book still isn't finished. Don’t laugh my intentions were good.), jewelry making and sweet girls. I hope you are all doing well.

I really miss getting to read about your family. I have two girls that are 8 & 10. I loved being able to see "young'ns" interacting with one another. I do understand that you want your privacy but please know that we miss you! I'm sorry people feel the need to attack other people. We all just live our lives the way we want to. It's too bad some people have way too much time on their hands and get into other people's business.

Hi Staci,
I have been following your guys' story for probably about 3 years now, but hardly ever sign the guestbook. I am sorry people feel the need to say mean things. I can't see any reason why they should, your family is amazing. I am still interested in following your blog and please let Mo know I still want to follow hers too.

I got hooked on the Raborn/Massey clan back when Jake was sick and have visited all the sites daily. I am sorry to hear that someone has caused Mo to block her blog. I haven't been able to get my daily fix and I am really missing the stories and pictures of the Ellie and Gabbi. I would love to be invited to view your blog, when and if you are up to posting again. I registered as a follower a few months ago but I am not sure what info that gives you. If you need anything other than an email address, please let me know. And just remember, you have waaaaaaaay more well wishers than naysayers. Your family is awesome and those who don't see that have real issues within themselves.

I have followed Jake's site for many years and get such inspiration from Jake's life and Staci's and Mo's blog. I am so sorry some people do not have it in their heart to live and let live. I see Staci is back blogging and hope Mo will in due time. Hope little Maddie is feeling better - stomach flu is not pleasant. I have tried to reply to Staci's blog but keep getting shut down - yes, I'm not the most computer literate person around!! If you want to pass my information on to Staci's and Mo's blog, I would greatly appreciate it. I don't see how people could possibly be mean to you guys. My prayers are with you and your lovely families.

Love you all and I loved your blogs. It takes all kinds eh and it would be impossible to put an educated guess on why someone would chose to be cruel to people who first of all have suffered greatly but who most of all have risen out of the depths of grief and gone on to help so many others. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful families with me and if you would like to add me to your blog list I would be honoured.

You go Todd. Yes we have wackos in this world, and the thing of it is they need to be cleaning out their own closets before they misjudge a family like you have. Those girls are so lucky to have parents like you and Mo. I have followed through Jake's illness, the death of Don's mother and you seem like family. Please don't stop the blog we want to see the girls grow up in a loving and caring home. Maybe we all should say a prayer for these people that have nothing else better to do than cause trouble. God Bless both sets of parents.

I am so sorry that Staci and Mo had to make them private but I completely understand why. I miss catching up on Ellie Sue and Gabbie Lou. But I am thrilled that I can get a Maddie fix and Dylan likes to read about Hunter and Hayden, they are already planning our trip to the Shake this summer. What they are going to pack, the DS games they are going to bring, the movies. We are SOOOO very excited to be going back this year. We can't wait to see ya'll again and this time they said they HAVE to get their faces painted cause they don't want to miss meeting Mo this trip.
I hope you know we are still here and still praying for all of you, your journey is far from over and your mission is just starting and we will be there for you always.

Don & Stacie,
Thanks for updating. I wondered what was going on. I've been a follower of Caring Bridge since my Gynocologist Kela Fee got colon cancer in 2004, unfortunatly she lost her battle in Nov. From her site I met The Martin 6, Anna Jane, Taj Brown, Jake Owen and numerous others on this site. I was cancer free for 31 years and I was diagnosed with a different kind of cancer in 2007. It's been up & down but I'm still fighting. I can't tell you how much faith, joy, sadness and encouragement I have received from following the stories of the courage, pain & love that these children have shown. They have been my lifeline and hope. The 3 girls (Maddie, Ellie & Gabbi) give me such joy and pleasure that I look forward to checking the web sites each night. It's so nice to read about these healthy sweet young children and know that their parents appreciate what the Lord has given them because they know what it is like to lose one. Jake was special and I'll never forget him. I can still check on Maddie, (thank you) and I hope someday to be able to see the other 2 darlin's again. If not hopefully Stacie or Don will keep us updated. I tried to upload a picture when Mel was asking but I couldn't get it to load, I'm not very good with that stuff. I have a web page on Facebook if Mel needs to check me out. I hate that there are others out there that think they have the right to threaten others. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your families that they stay safe. God Bless you.
P.S. Mo I'm the Linda Marlo (Anna Jane's Mom) mentioned on her CB site about a 2nd opinion with the Dr on the day of the Pay It Forward drawing. That is a great thing to do! I was so sure I would win since The drawing and my Dr's appointment was on Friday the 13th. Oh well! Maybe next time.

I was wondering what happened to Mo and Stacy's blog. I am so, so upset and disappointed that they have to close their blogs down because of some mean and hateful people. I don't know of two women who have done more for children and the community than Stacy and Mo. I hope that one day I will once again be able to follow them and their beautiful families. you can make your blog so it does not allow comments at all.
You can also delete any comment on a blog.
You can also set it up, so that the comments are emailed to you and then when you hit accept they will post after your approval.

Le me know if you need any help. I hate to see because of some awful people that you can't share your blogs.

All my best. J.Peterson

We are so sorry to read that people like that exist in this world. It was so NICE to see all the continuous pictures and updates of your families. Since we aren't able to see you all in person as much anymore, it was nice to see you all on the blogs. It was as though we could keep up with the kids growing up and all.

I must say that this is not the first we have heard of this. Two of our friends with caringbridge sites recently had some "HATE" posts on their sites. It is so hard to understand why someone would even think they could come close to understanding what our families have been through without going through it themselves. It amazes us how some that have not gone through this journey can completely love us with their support of us and are drawn closer to the Lord while others make judgements that are not theirs to give and use hateful comments to deliver their message. The two are so far apart!!!!!!! The one strong thought that comes to mind is Jesus' words from the cross, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do."

We continue to pray for all of you!!! We MISS ALL OF YOU!!!

Trusting God unconditionally,

Love,

I'm so sad about Mo's blog. I've been a silent follower for a while now, starting with Jake's site, and it pains me to think that I won't be able to continue following Ellie and Gabbi. I understand that you're putting yourself out there with a blog, however, so you have to do what you have to do. Just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed your blog.

So sorry this is happening to you all. I am a big fan of the Raborn/Massey/Groves clan and hope you'll be able to open up the blogs soon. Thanks for sharing your family with us - I feel like you're all part of my family and it makes me sad when you are hurting.

Don,
Thanks for updating...I was beginning to wonder if somthing like this had hadppeded. What a shame. I am sorry that ya'all have to deal with people like that. I am glad to hear the Stacey's has her site back up and hopefully Mo will come around, but I don't blame her at all. There are very MEAN people out there and sometimes you wonder why would they do something like this...but they are sick fools. Well if Mo is interested I would love to be added and I have no problem giving my email out there...tonyaknichols@yahoo.com, I have followed your site for a long time and I feel like ya'all family. I live in Slidell, La and I have a Freshman at LSU so it is so much fun to read your sites and keep in touch. I hope one day to meet up with ya'all at a tailgate party...Thanks for letting us all know....That was so nice of you! Take care and please let both Stacey and Mo know that I am right behing them both and I understand why they did what they did!

Don, thank you for your update. I always check Jake's site along with Stacey's and Mo's to see if there is anything written here. I can't go very long without seeing his sweet, mischevious, brave, smiling face. All in good time, Mo. We will be hoping and praying that whatever happened can be mended in your heart. It is sad that the goodness in the internet can be undone by one sad, mean soul. Again, Don, thanks for taking time to update.

I have been a "silent" follower of this Caringbridge site and also Mo's and Staci's Blogs. I did sign up to be a follower for both of the Blogs and have enjoyed very much seeing all of the pictures and hearing about both families. I am so sorry that Mo does not have her Blog viewable without an invitation but I am glad that Staci has her's up and running again. Hopefully in good time Mo will see how much people do really care and will again open her Blog. God Bless each and everyone in both of your families.

I have been checking all day on your blogs...didn't understand what was going on, so i came here looking for answers..can't believe people are so cruel. I miss seeing what the kids are all into...wow that miss Ellie is sure busy, and i love to see what she is getting miss Gabbi into. They are all adorable, and miss Maddi, i had just got used to checking on them again since Staci had got back into her blog...then they were gone! Hopefully everything will settle down and you can all get back to what you enjoy doing...sharing your families with other families that love to watch your kids grow and have fun. You guys have the kind of family time that people only dream of. I loved the oreo thing..how much fun was that!!!!

I'm another believer who never signed up as a follower on Mo's blog and wish that I had taken the time. I've enjoyed reading about your lives and all those sweet little girls (and handsome boys, as well). I am sorry about what happened, unfortunately there are always those who feel it's their right to sit back and judge. I wish you all the best...I'll keep watching and hoping that Melanie opens her blog again.

I am so sorry that people out there who think they know it all have to ruin things for those of us that plain old enjoy your wonderful families. I love to look at your girls and remember when my kids were that young! My 8 yr old loves to hear your accent! We purchased both of your scrapbooking kits as well. I understand your reasons for making the blogs private and only hope you find it in you to open them back up. I always mean to go and join as a "follower" but just never seemed to do it. Wish I had now :-( Very sad here in NJ that I can't "follow" you for now.

Oh my goodness, I am just heart broken about mo's site. I registered for Staci's but could kick myself that I didn't ever do any registering for mo's. I have followed this site and prayed and believed for a couple of years. I have signed in before but have always uplifted your family and yes, sometimes I do feel like family because i look so forward DAILY to reading about the girls and the boys and watch them grow up with such beautiful pictures. Mo made me want to scrapbook so bad that I have bought all kinds of stuff and was going to look up her instructions once again so i could get started.......I know this world is full of crazy people and mean and nasty people and that makes me mad that now I and others will suffer for their devil minds. I pray for convictions in their hearts for what they have done and I do so hope they are miserable and I mean really miserable in their lives until they make amends for what they have done. I wish Mo and Staci all the best because they deserve it. You have really blessed my heart and I will continue to watch for your return. You are all on my favorites!!!!!God continue to bless you.

Okay Staci,
You are going to think I am an airhead! Okay, well, I am! I just sent you an e-mail asking about Mo's site, before I even read Don's update! So, I have the answers now. I am so sorry that people think they need to share their negative opinions. The way I see it, we haven't walked in your shoes and it's not our business to be negative. The whole purpose of us even coming here is to be positive and support you. i think you guys rock and I love hearing about the family and seeing pictures. You guys take care and hopefully your blogs will be back in action.

I am so hurt that someone would want to bring negativity into your lives. You have been through too much already. Much more than the coward(s) that are trying to stop the joy you bring to others. Keep your head up and remember Who is really in charge here.

Staci & Mo,
I cannot believe that someone could be so cruel and crush your world with ugly words when you both have such beautiful stories and families to share. Do they not realize the inspiration you are to people -- you are the reason so many people have become followers and supporters of St. Jude -- that beautiful smile on Jake's face - how can someone resist that! Please be assured that those people cannot possibly sleep good at night and have peace in their lives like you two. Please continue to inspire us with your adventures and your beautiful children. I thank God each day for the four grandchildren that I have and so enjoy reading your blogs each morning. I have been a follower for some time now but yesterday and today are the first times that I have written to you. Hang tough and God Bless You and your families!!!

Staci and Mo,
I'm so sorry to hear about your blog "meanies". I've followed ya'll since Jake's diagnosis and still get my daily fix on your blogs. Glad to see that Staci is back and Mo, we miss you and hope you will return soon. I'm one of your peeps who never responds, but felt that I had to this time. I check your sites every morning and couldn't believe that you weren't there yesterday. I immediately called emailed my daughter to see if she could find you. So glad that Lindsay let us in on what was going on.

Gabbi and my granddaughter are the same age, so I really enjoy watching the similarities in their developments.

Keep your chin up and find a way to get rid of the "meanies" on your blog. We miss you!

Hi Mo, Stacey and families! I have never signed the guestbook on all three of the websites but there have been many times I wished I knew how to on the blogs. You guys are so wonderful and add such a big bright spot to mine and obviously many other peoples days. I was happy to see Stacey's blog back up this morning. I still checked hers daily even when she was on vacation for about 6 months (haha) hoping there would be that one day I would check and there would be the update, I was so excited when it was. Just wanted you all to know what an inspiration you are to many. You have taught me to live my life to the fullest with my family, not to take one second for granted!

I'm going to join the list of folks that missed being able to read your blogs today. My blog lets me see a pic of sweet Gabbi but can't get in either. Hoping it's just an error and not due to someone being insensitive and you guys having to make your sites private. I love following you guys!

I too have been a faithful "silent" reader of jake's caringbridge site as well as mo and staci's blogs. Your family is truly amazing and I look forward each day to your entries on the blogs. They are so uplifting and encouraging. I was extremely disappointed today when I could not get on mo's blog. Please let us back in -- my day will not be the same without your site and those precious children.

Know we still think of you guys!! So good to see you in December at St. Jude. It was our local St. Jude radiothon here and they play different song/stories throughout the day. We heard you guys talking today about what a little hero Jake was. We are better people for having known him.

Today has been 'one of those days' at the Jude for me. I find if i visit certain caringbridge sites and see how families cope and love eachother through the tough times, it makes unexplainable things a bit easier. This is one of my favorites! I'm still blown away by the love and support everyone continues to send to you. Thanks for your encouragement, even when you don't know your giving it!
