PRAISE THE LORD!!! We just got the word that Emilie has been accepted into the Rapamycin study!!! We are so excited about this opportunity---we just know God is going to do great things. Thank you all so much for praying that this would happen, we know God heard our prayers.

Anne (nurse practitioner) told Todd that they would schedule the MRI for the last week in August. Then about two weeks later we would go back for oncology labs and hopefully start the treatment. She told him they will have to check Emilie's Rapamycin levels twice a week for the first two to three weeks of treatment, so we will have to be up there quite a bit at the beginning. Then she will have check-ups once every two weeks, then once a month, then once every three months, etc., as the study progresses (it is a three-year study).

She told Todd that Emilie would be the second or third person to begin the study due to the pressing nature of her condition. (Again, we are so glad for the timing of the MRI and Emilie's visit to St. Louis so they could know what her situation is!)

Thank you so much for your continued prayer support as we begin this treatment. We are expecting great things from this study! Please pray that Emilie will respond to this treatment in a miraculous way. God is so good!!
