Allen Patrick Smith

On February 23, 2005 at the age of three, Allen Patrick Smith was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia called near-haploid acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Allen is currently a patient at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

CURED... APRIL 18, 2013 Dr. Pui told us Allen was cured. He has been off treatment for five years. He is a healthy 11 year old enjoying life. He loves soccer and baseball but most of all loves to hunt and fish. We have been so fortunate to come out of this experience with a great outcome, great memories, and life long friends.

Thanks for following us on his journey. I feel like this chapter of our life is closed now. Today I will order the caringbridge book of every entry, picture, and messages left for us. It will be in print for Allen to look at one day and see how much he was loved.
