Sarah Krauskopf's Page Welcome to Sarah's web page. My wonderful wife and soul mate passed away on January 22, 2004 from brain metastisis of colon cancer. Her life has been, and continues to be a beacon of light shining brightly for all those who loved her. Please visit often to keep up to date and hear about our family. We love to read your guestbook comments. Thank you for all the prayers and support.

Saturday, March 7, 2009 7:58 PM CST Hello folks.
Boy has it sure been busy during the past month or so. Growth, change and new understandings continue to happen to each of us in our happy home. The girls are growing so beautifully! During the past 5 or so years that I have been updating this blog it has served an important purpose for me. I have been able to share much of what is inside me and the journey that our family has gone through immediately after Sarah’s death. I decided early on that it was important to open up this often hidden world of grief and allow others (YOU!) to see how my family walked down this path. Granted, we are just a single family, however I am willing to bet that most families who loose a dearly beloved spouse travel a similar path.
So, I think that it is time to wrap up the updates. As you can tell they have been occurring less and less frequently during the past several months. This doesn’t mean that I will never write on this wonderful site again, it just means that updates will be very infrequent. I want to thank all you wonderful folks out there. I hope that this information Sarah and I have written during the past several years will be put to good use. According to caringbridge, it will be here.
God and your prayers have made us stronger and more compassionate people than I would have ever imagined. All he asks of us is to be faithful and live in the today, one day at a time. Victories and mistakes will always occur, the key is to focus on Christ and the Sacraments because through him you will never stray too far away and you will have the strength to persevere during the darkest times. And it just might happen that those darkest times are really nuggets of pure gold that when given to Christ, will pave a new life and new more solidly truthful foundation on which to blossom.
Thank you, you wonderful folks. I pray for you always. If you need to contact me (us) my email address is christokk@netzero.com
Peace to you!
Chris
