Happy New Year! It has been a long time since we have updated the sight. I am sorry but, it is a good sign when we don't. Remember that saying "no news is good news"? We are doing well. I don't know if we are coming or going sometimes but, things are good.
I will start with our little baby boy. Logan is not so little. He is almost 5'5" tall and weighs in around 130 lbs. He is a fantastic student (I wonder where he got that). He is currently playing on 2 basketball teams. One is a seventh grade team and one is an eight grade team. He started playing games in early November and he has probably played 35-40 games already. He turned 13 (Wow a teenager) on the 11th of January. He is having a lot of fun with it. He is looking forward to middle school golf which starts in March.
Laurel is also a fantastic student. Since we have last posted an update her vollleyball team won the championship (Cheryl was the coach). Right now she is very passionate about swim team. She swims for Cardinal Aquatics. We have a big meet in Indianopolis this weekend. She is also playing basketball for the first time. She is having a lot of fun with that and she is still playing the piano.
Cheryl is the best! She is keeping us all in line and running the house. She is playing a lot of tennis and has a great group of girls that she plays with. Lately she has been organizing the next fundraiser for The Laurel Foundation. We are doing it at Blairwood again on January 23rd. If you have not checked out our web site it is www.thelaurelfoundation.com. Cheryl and the girls have worked very hard on the fundraiser and I am sure that it will be the best ever.
We all have so many things to be thankful for and we truly appreciate all of the continued thoughts and prayers you send us. Laurel will have scans coming up soon as well as Logan has a check up for his cyst later this month. We anticipate that everything will be fine. God Bless you all and live each day with passion!
