Journal

With all of the festivities at work this week, I found that I was just exhausted yesterday. I left work at noon and came home and took a nap...boy, did I ever need that!

Stuart and I had some time to sit and talk before we went to Owensboro with Rick for the fireworks and dinner at the Moonlite. Stuart drove...and he and Rick sat in the front seat and talked...we really had a nice time. Seems that Stuart has been after the wrong girl of the two he has been hanging around with...he now has his sights set on the other...they text messaged back and forth all the time we were out...Rick and I really got a kick out of that and the fact that Stuart said that he was babysetting us old folks...

The fireworks were beautiful...I have never been to a fireworks display like that and was just about as interested in seeing the people as the fireworks on the river...we really had a great time...

Today, Rick and I are going riding with two couples from the church...somewhere up in Indiana...the sun should be out today and it will be so much fun...I can hardly wait...

Please continue to remember us in prayer...

Diane
