Journal

What a nice lazy weekend. And I needed it. Friday at work was really something else. One of our pharmacy tech's got a call that her 31 year old son-in-law was found on the couch not breathing and had to make an emergency run home...he didn't make it...then I found out that one of our front end ladies has cancer....and it doesn't look good for her...I was just really depressed...and so very sad...Life is so short...and so full of problems. And these are such huge problems...like Joyce Meyer once said..."If the only problems you have can be fixed by money...you have no problems"...how true I have found that to be.

On Sat I didn't feel the greatest...we went to the Kentucky Lake to just ride around...we put the top down and all but scorched...so...even though it is fun to ride with it down...it just had to go up...it was a really nice day...this heat has really gotten to me this year...

Yesterday we went to Jerry's brothers house to visit his mother...the kids take turns keeping her and this next weekend is Jerry's turn. She is a very sweet lady but comes and goes from reality to something...she is really having a difficult time...that is so very sad.

Today...ugh...back to work...it is really beginning to be a struggle to go to work...I still love my job, but I'd rather be out running around...retirement is sounding better all the time...I may not make it to my intended 62...that does seem light years away...

Please remember us in prayer...

Diane
