Our Daughter Angela This is our daughter, Angela's web page to give you updates and happenings on her health. She has a form of Dysautonomia. The various forms of Dysautonomia can range from mild to debilitation and even life threatening. What is Dysautonomia you ask. It is a group of conditions that are caused by a malfunction of the Autonomic Nervous System. Symptoms may include: Tachycardia, bradycardia, palpations, chest pains, dangerously low blood pressure, wide mood swings/sudden drops in blood pressure, excessive fatigue, exercise intolerance, dizziness, fainting, nausea, insomnia, seizures, shortness of breath, migraines, tremulousness, cognitive impairment, visual blurring and so weak sometimes you can't walk or get out of bed. Just to name a few. Each Dysautonomia case is unique. Quality of life is similar to those with congestive heart failure. Dysautonomia brings special consideration because the conditions are entirely unpredictable and the circumstances are always changing.

I've learned ... That your family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny ... But people you aren't related to can take care of you And love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren't biological
May those who love us love us And those who don't love us May God turn their hearts, And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles, So we will know them by their limping. - Irish Prayer
I laugh, I love, I hope, I try, I hurt, I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things too, So we're really not that different," You and I ...
"At times life's path seems filled with things, That make the going rough, And we wish there were a smoother road For we feel we've had enough...
But if we pause a moment And remember Who's in charge, The hills that loomed ahead of us, No longer seem so large.
And every rock before us, When we know we're not alone, Becomes not just a stumbling block But one more stepping stone.

Sunday, April 10, 2011 1:55 AM CDT Well it has been a year since I have up dated this site. I was having trouble getting in as the author. Go figure. Well Angela is doing OK. She has had some rough days. A few days this week she has had real bad chest pains. Chad has been out of work for three months so they haven't had any insurance. So she hasn't been able to get her meds. I believe that is a lot of the trouble. Don't even know if we will be able to go see the heart doctor in Ohio this summer. We will have to wait and see how things go. Her and Chad did buy a condo last year. She loves it. She has been able to watch Emery some for Mary while she works. When she has him I go over after I get off work to help her. He is a year old now and keeps everybody on their toes. We love him so much. I have been on Spring Break this past week. I have been able to get some work done around the house. Angela has stayed over here at our house this week. Well guess that is all the news for now. Will try and keep this updated. Will try and get some new pictures up this week sometime. Please keep Angela in your prayers as well as all the caringbridge families.
