Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7

Welcome to Aaron Sampson's Web Page. It has been provided to keep family and friends updated about Aaron.

Aaron was born on Nov. 1, 1996. He was diagnosed with hydrocephalus when he was six months old. When Aaron was seven months he had a third ventriscolostomy to drain the fluid from his brain. In Aug. of 1998 Aaron had to have surgery again for a VP shunt. After the shunt was placed Aaron developed a blood clot in his brain which caused him to have seizures. He no longer has seizures. Aaron began having problems walking and talking and was then diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and had surgery number 4 to take out part of his vertabrae to make room for his brain. With most shunts there are malfunctions and infections and Aaron is no different. In 2001 Aaron had five brain surgeries for malfunctions and infections. He has also been diagnosed with migranes, essential tremors, restless leg syndrome, cervical stenosis of the spine and ADD. Aaron continues to amaze us even though he has had twelve operations. There has been too many hospitalizations to mention, but we believe Aaron is a true miracle from God!

Sickness has invaded our home! Grace and Tara both have strep throat and Tara has scarletina as well. They are both sleeping right now. I am home with them today and Dennis will be home with them tomorrow. We are praying Aaron doesn't get this as we can't afford for him to go back into the hospital. So the girls are quarentined to their rooms so Aaron or any of us won't get this as well.

Aaron continues to do weel. Praise the Lord!!!

Not much else going on. Been busier than ever. I started back to school last night. It seems I will have quite a bit of work with this class. Not something I am looking forward to, but know the count down is on until I graduate. The end is in sight!!

Thanks for checking in with us and for all of your prayers.

If you don't have anything going on Thursday evenings I would love for you to come to our home for our small group. We are starting a new study on what it takes to be a disciple. It starts at 7:00pm. Kids are welcome.

Blessings on your week.

Kim
