Erin's Page

Welcome to Erin's caringbridge page. Erin began her journey with Stage IV Neuroblastoma August 25, 2003, and finally after a long and difficult battle, she reached NED status in February (or March) 2005. After that Erin continued to recieve 3f8 antibody treatments until October 2006. Since that time she has been checked and scanned every 12 weeks. The frequent checks will continue for at least another year. We are blessed and grateful and thank you for visiting our page!

OK, it's been way too long since I've updated. Erin continues to be quite well. We received another clean set of scans and tests at the end of July and were even able to make a vacation out of our trip to NY. Erin will enter 7th grade and take a full load of advanced classes this year, along with playing the clarinet, and taking dance class. It is hard to believe it has been four years since she was diagnosed and three years since the surgery that most likely saved her life. August 16, 2004, was a very long day indeed.

I will ask Erin's dad to post a newer picture as well--he has access to the scanner. Thanks to those of you who have visited!!
