Aidan Joseph Hagerty

Welcome to Aidan's Web Page. When he was 13 months old he was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. He is going through chemotherapy. He has involvement in his skin and upper right sinus.

UPDATE: Aidan received his last chemo treatment July 2006. He continues to remain disease free. All of the bone that was lost in his upper right sinus area has filled back in and everything appears normal. Thank you to everyone for all the prayers, I know they worked.

This web site has been provided to keep friends and family updated about Aidan and his treatment. Check out the link at the bottom of the page to find out more about histiocytosis.

Hello everyone, man it's been a long time since I updated Aidan's page. I guess that's because things have been going so well for him. Aidan will be turning 6 on Monday the 16th and he is just enjoying being a normal boy. He loves Kindergarten and tries his hardest to stay out of trouble. Aidan still goes in for routine bloodwork to make sure things are staying in check. We don't do scans unless we have a reason to suspect that something might be going on. We did end up doing scans after my last update when Aidan was having a lot of sinus issues and we didn't know if it was related. His markers of inflammation in his blood were sky high and we thought that something more might be going on. Luckily it wasn't and we just had to wait everything out. Other than that things have been pretty normal, can't complain-I will try to get some recent photos up soon. Thanks for checking in-Kristine
